0:36.1	Messiah with these prophecies from Isaiah
0:38.3	about the coming of a great king, a great Savior, the one that would fulfill all the hopes of
0:44.1	Israel and extend salvation to the ends of the earth. But what was most astonishing about these
0:50.1	prophecies is that God was going to come. This Messiah was going to come as a child.
0:57.2	Now, this upcoming Sunday, when we go to Mass, we're going to hear the gospel reading.
1:00.8	We're going to get to hear a gospel reading that's connecting the dots for us with one of these
1:04.6	prophecies of Isaiah. It's the famous story about Joseph and the dream he has. Remember that story?
1:10.2	How Joseph has a dream and the angel tells
1:12.5	him, don't be afraid to take Mary as your wife. She's conceived as a virgin by the power of the
1:16.5	Holy Spirit. And like that alone right there is a pretty amazing story. If you just heard that Joseph
1:21.8	has a dream and an angel appears, that's pretty dramatic. And then you hear the angel announces
1:25.5	that his wife is conceiving as a virgin
1:28.6	by the power of the Holy Spirit. There's never been a conception like that before. Whoa! This is
1:34.6	incredible. And if Matthew just decided to stop there, it would be an amazing, dramatic story.
1:41.7	But that's not what Matthew does. Matthew actually goes a step further and connects the
1:47.7	dots for us. He highlights for us that what's happening here in the life of Mary and Joseph in this
