Hello, everybody. Welcome to episode 476 of and as you can tell, my lifelong traveling companion

and my bride, Jennifer, is not with me this week. If you're a regular, you know that about six weeks ago,

Jennifer went in for what was supposed to be an outpatient,

relatively common heart procedure that was botched.

They ended up poking a hole in her heart.

And she ended up spending the better part of the week in cardiac intensive care in the hospital with a ventilator.

She's largely recovered from that.

But in the process of that, perhaps because of the ventilator, we don't know, she contracted full-scale pneumonia. And if you listened to Last Week's podcast,

you would have heard how she had some difficulty talking without coughing. And that cough has

proceeded to get worse and worse. She's on some really heavy-duty meds now, and the cough is

starting to ease. She actually wanted to come down and

give this a try because i think she would have done better than last week but uh we're going to follow

the doctor's advice and tell her to rest up for a while so hopefully she'll be back next week

in fact next week will be uh the 20th of december and that will be our last of the year, the last podcast of the year.

We won't come back to the podcast until the first Wednesday in January.

So we're going to take a quick break then.

And this week, though, we are going to talk about the Tampa RV Super Show. I have to say that when you look at

the list of all the RV shows, this is probably the premier event, I think, of the entire year.

Arguably, the Hershey Show in September is close to, if not equalling it in importance, but Tampa

sort of sets the tone for the whole year. And this is going to be a big show. A big show is,

I was going to say Ed Sullivan used to say, but nobody knows who he is anymore except old people,

so I won't say that.
