Alexa, how about we start with you introducing yourself? Sure. Well, I am Alexa Philippa. I'm the

Yukon Women's Basketball and Connecticut Sun Beat Rider at the Hartford Current, which I've been doing

for just about two years now. And I'm a new dog mom.

Those are pretty much the most important things to know about me.

I love it.

And I think it's crazy.

It's been two years.

And how even just in this, just in the past two years, things have gotten crazy, especially in the WMBA.

So how has that been just covering and having, you know, being a beat writer for the sun

over this two years stretch?

Well, it's been a whirlwind in the best possible way, besides, you know, the global

pandemic and all that stuff.

But I got here in 2019, it was at the end of the regular season.

And then, you know, a few weeks later, I was covering the sun making their first

finals appearance since 2005.

They obviously went to a game five that they lost.

But it was like such an exciting series.

I then covered Yukon on my first Yukon season.

The pandemic hit.
