As promised, a special episode,

a special episode dedicated to the announcing, announcement of the 2020 Pulitzer

Prizes and many things, really.

We're not going to go through detail of the reporting

and music and everything.

We're going to stick with the letters once,

you know, fiction, nonfiction and poetry too, we'll talk about a little

bit even though I scarcely imagine either of us have much to say about the poetry winner.

This another year, but worth mentioning for sure.

And Rebecca, you watch the live stream of the Pulitzer which I want to hear about

two. Do I have that right? Yeah. Yeah you do. It's the first time I've paid attention to

the Pulitzer announcement live. I think since we've done Book Riot.

Maybe I've got it wrong, but I think this

might be the first time they actually live stream

streamed it maybe I'm wrong.

I don't know.

There were a few years where they were getting announced on

Twitter and presumably in other venues at the same time I think but I would

catch up later like it was never this has never been something that I've had on my calendar as like at three o'clock on this day. I need to see right as it's announced who is winning. But I watched the live stream yesterday. Yep. It's funny to think of the format of the three major literary awards that we pay attention to,

and would even dedicate a whole show to maybe like the National Book Award, this and the Nobel Prize,

because each of them have this announcement strategy

that is very so wildly so this one historically has been a tweet and a press
