This week on the nerd cast we are going to dig into an action-packed week.

For one thing, the Democratic presidential field did something it hasn't done in a

while, it grew.

The newest Democrat who wants to take on President Trump next fall, former Massachusetts

Governor Deval Patrick, and another potential candidate is

former New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg. We've had some folks dropping up

but this week we had a couple of new candidates jump in.

It's going to this like one in, one out policy.

Apparently Democrats have a but over a drug.

No one in the modern era has ever entered the race for president this late in the game and prevailed.

He apparently thinks there's still room for one more.

When you talk to voters on the ground,

they say that they're overwhelmed by the number of candidates,

that there are too many.

And yeah, this might seem a little out of left field,

if you'll pardon the pun.

The race has been going on for 10, 11 months.

At this point, what are Patrick and Bloomberg doing

jumping in now?
