Summary

In this episode, David, Devindra, Jeff, Kristy, and Peter discuss the top 10 films of the summer, and how they did in the Summer Movie Wager.

Here are the actual top 10 films of summer 2018:
1. Avengers: Infinity War
2. Incredibles 2
3. Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom
4. Deadpool 2
5. Ant-Man and the Wasp
6. Solo: A Star Wars Story
7. Mission: Impossible - FAllout
8. Hotel Transylvania 3
9. Ocean's 8
10. The Meg

Last April, everyone chose their 1-10 ranked films according to these rules:

- Getting number 1 or number 10 dead-on gets you 13 points (each).
- 10 points for numbers 2-9 dead-on
- 7 points if your pick was only one spot away from where it ended up
- 5 points if it was two spots away
- 3 points if your pick is anywhere in the Top 10
- 1 point for each dark horse that makes it into the Top 10

The scoring is tabulated so that you get the SINGLE HIGHEST point value for each pick- that is, if you get number ten right, you don’t get 13+3, you only get 13. This year people played along submitting their lists on thesummermoviewager.com.

Congrats to Dan Kelly from London England for getting the most points out of 3,817 entries! Congrats to  Justin Lerbakken from Minneapolis, MN for getting the most points from the Slackfilmcast (slackfilmcast.com).
