who went through life without raising any red flags. That was until he committed the worst mass

shooting in the U.S. and took the lives of 60 innocent concert goers.

Stephen Craig Paddock was born on April 9, 1953 in Iowa,

but spent most of his young life in Arizona and then Los Angeles, California.

The oldest of four sons, Stephen's father Benjamin, was a bank robber, who was arrested when his son was just seven years old, convicted, and escaped from prison in 1969.

He was also a frequent visitor to the FBI's most wanted list, and as such had, quote,

limited interaction with Stephen following his release from prison.
