Hello everyone and welcome to part one of the NBP Film Awards, which we alluded to on episode

18 of the Next Best Picture podcast. This is going to be a week by week unveiling of our top

awards for the year in many, many different categories, some of them with top threes, top fives, runner-ups,

and we're covering pretty much everything for the most part, leading all the way up until the big show itself,

the Oscars, which, in my opinion, puts a cap on the year pretty well.

So let's not waste any more time. Let's check in with Will,

Kristen, and Michael, and let's do this.

Let's move over to our first awards of the year.

We'll start off very, very simple.

We'll start off with something that is more visual so that we can make everybody that's

listening very frustrated right now.

And that is our top three favorite movie posters for the year.

I want to just first say there's somebody that usually contributes towards next best

picture.

His name is Mike Vermet.

And Mike, I asked him if he would kindly participate in these end-of-year awards as well.

And he said that he would.

So he sent into me his picks for the top three posters and the other categories we're going to be doing here.

So I want to just share his first with everybody.

In his number three spot, he has Rogue One.

In number two, he has La La Land.

And in number one, he has The Jungle Book.
