Today we are looking at one of the biggest, most impactful, most inspirational pop culture events.

It happened in the late 1990s. It's called The Matrix. Yes, the adventures of Neo and Trinity,

this incredible vision by the Wachowski's. It struck pop culture like thunder and lightning.

And immediately it was felt not just in action films, but in comic books and specifically

the X-Men comics. Boy, oh boy, did they completely wander over to the Matrix side of the

table and start looking and examining it, aspects that they could put into the comics, into a new

revolution of the X-Men. They call it the revolution. Part of it was Counter-X. How was

counter-X put together? How was it conceived? What was the execution?

What was the reception?

Why does counter x have zero footprint in the X-Men universe?
