My book Million Dollar Weekend is for aspiring entrepreneurs who dream of starting their own business. I break down the process of starting into simple steps that you can do in just one weekend.
So this summer was a wild sweaty mess. After a pretty uncomfortable RV trip with my wife and one-year-old across France, I booked one night at a $2,000 luxury resort in Bordeaux, and it blew my mind!
I’m not usually a baller-hotel guy (Bonjour Best Western, merci beaucoup), but this place nailed every little detail.
In this episode, I break down the customer experience lessons and how you can apply them to your own business. No matter what you sell, there’s always a way to go that extra mile for your customers.
In this conversation, you’ll enjoy 3 BIG things:
How small, low cost touches can leave a big impact and wow your customers.
Why consistency builds trust and long-term loyalty.
How to turn around those unexpected complications should they arise in your business.
Enjoy these 3 things plus many nuggets along the way.
I have also been sharing emails on my brutally honest advice on a variety of topics. People have been loving it. Sign up at noahkagan.com and join 350k other people who get juicy insights every month.

0:54.9 | which we did. And it wasn't that great of a trip. It was a nice moments, but it was a very difficult trip with a one-year-old driving around with the RV. It was tough for her and for me and my wife. But one of the final nights, I bawled out, which I've never done before, and I spent over $2,000 a night in a six-star resort in the French Bordeaux region, which fun fact, Bordeaux is a region. There's no Bordeaux grape, which blew my mind, and I felt like such a dumb American. I don't drink enough wine to really be like, know this stuff. And we're at this place, and it was just insane. And it's such an amazing experience at this |

And my wife didn't know the price and she was like, we're going to stay here for a week. I was like, I might have to get a job here or something else or work a lot harder. But it was just such a cool thing that I wanted to share that with you. So let me talk about what it was like to stay at a $2,000 plus night resort. I just want to share some of the experiences. Now, there's people online that are bowling out, pretend to ball out, or they talk about some of these hotels. And if you haven't heard of them, one of us is called Am Geary. And so Amengiri is like, I don't know, 3,500 a night. And they know your name when you come to the hotel. Now, let me tell you, I don't need you to know my name. I'll give you $1,000 back and just let me show up anonymously. But we were doing this RV trip in Europe, trying to get to the Tour de France and we saw some |
2:36.1 | the stages and it was not horrible, but it wasn't amazing. It was a stressful trip with a baby |
2:41.9 | in a little RV without AC and someone ended up hitting me on the last night. They hit the car. |
