| 0:49.1 | My father sat me down when I was 15, and he, you know, he had this kind of father-to-son conversation, |

| 1:04.4 | before you enjoy this country. |
| 1:06.3 | You will look back on your service fondly. |
| 1:11.2 | And I, you know, I was 15, I didn't know what that meant, but I did have an older brother |
| 1:16.3 | who was about two and a half years older than me, and he ended up going to the Air Force |

| 1:22.2 | So I'm guessing at this point, you know, he must have had this conversation with him |
| 1:25.2 | a couple years prior. |
| 1:28.6 | And so now it was my turn. |
| 1:30.3 | And I think out of maybe laziness, I just applied to the Air Force Academy, followed my brother there. |
