Summary
The film is based on a book by the same name by journalist David Grann. Set in the 1920s, it tells the story of the mysterious murders of more than 60 wealthy Osage Native Americans.
The murders were brutal and went largely unchecked by local and state police in Oklahoma.
The movie stars Lily Gladstone, Leonardo DiCaprio, and Robert De Niro.
We discuss the movie, what it gets right about Native American culture, and what it means for the future of films featuring Indigenous characters.
