In the 1920s, more than 60 wealthy members of the Osage Nation were mysteriously murdered.

The murders were brutal and went largely uninvestigated by local and state police in Oklahoma.

A century later, that story is being told on the big screen.

For this edition of the 1A Movie Club, we're discussing Killers of the Flower Moon.

A new film directed by Martin Scorsese that some say could be his last.

The film was released in theaters on October 20th.

It follows the relationship of Molly and Ernest Burkhart,

played by actors Lily Gladstone and Leonardo DiCaprio.

And Ernest's greedy uncle William Hale, played by Robert De Niro.

The movie is based on a book by the same name by journalist David Gran,

while you're from him later on in the show.

At $200 million, it's the largest production yet from Apple Studios.
