We have a special episode of the podcast today.

This is a totally different version of the podcast than usual. You can see it as sort of like a holiday edition of the podcast, but really it's the Golden Dukes award ceremony. You know, we have

had this with this awards program called the Golden Dukes, I believe, for 17 years. Just before we

started the episode, I looked,

and it said the 16th annual Golden Duke Awards. And I think actually the first was 17 years

ago. And we had a little discussion about, like, you know, it is possible despite our, you know,

our being on top of all things informational and historical

when we put together the page for this year's awards, we just got it wrong. There was one year

when the Golden Dukes went on hiatus somewhat without my permission, and I was very upset about it.

So we've been back since then.

So we don't really know.

We can only say that the first edition of the Golden Dukes was 17 years ago, which was a long time ago.
