Precise what Hirohito loved about that watch, we'll never know. What we do know is how much he loved it, for whatever reasons.

And that, as all of you know, is the power of a watch. The amazing power to amuse, absorb,

fascinate, even thrill, to not only do something, to capture something to mean something. For me

that's the lesson of the Hirohito story and why I like it so much. Be it Ajourn, a Yeager, a Bulova, or an Elgin Mickey,

there's just something magical between a guy or a gal and a favorite watch. And soo, Hey everybody I'm your host Stephen Pulverin and this is Hodincky Radio.

Here we are. It's episode 100. If you had told me two years ago that we'd be sitting here

recording all of this from home at episode 100, I don't know if I would have believed you but it's been a pretty incredible run.
