| 0:00.0 | Ultra-processed foods have been linked to lower bone density. |
| 0:03.7 | They're linked to everything. |
| 0:04.6 | They're linked them to anything positive. Between that and plastic, let's just, you know. |
| 0:08.2 | Let me call it a day. What kind of food you say? |
| 0:12.1 | Ultra-processed foods. Right. They taste good. That's it. |
| 0:14.7 | You know what? They're terrible. |
| 0:15.7 | The mint from top 10. The midter from top 10. |
| 0:30.6 | So these are the top ten worst ultra-processed foods in the American diet as per JustPoint.com Because I also know we're going to eat every damn one of these and not give an F. |
| 0:34.7 | Oh yeah. |
| 0:35.1 | So let's run on it on down. |
| 0:36.5 | Number 10 on the list, very bottom what we have down here, protein bars, shakes and meal replacement drinks. The thing that you think is healthy. Aloha bars, muscle milk, kind protein, RX bars, Garden of Life protein powder, cliff builders, Soilent. Soiland? Does this include way? |
| 1:28.0 | Uh, but, but, but, but, but, but, but, uh, doesn't say way. Maybe depends on what brand you get. Yeah. Sure. Um, let's see here. Nope, it doesn't give me an alternative. I'm just wondering if just protein powder is a bad thing. Garden of Life protein powder is one that they got in there. Garden of Life. that means probably it does not have weight. Yeah, they promise to give a quick nutritional boost after a long workout session. Many of these are chock full of not so healthy ingredients like added sugars, calories, or even toxic chemicals. Jesus. You ever put a scoop of that vegetable stuff in your, in your smoothie? Like the, the pee powder? Yeah, kind of like anything like that like anything like that which is that a protein basically one scoop is all the vegetables you |
| 1:31.6 | need in a day and you can't really even taste it yeah yeah I'd prefer just to eat it |
| 1:38.7 | naturally I don't know why did see I'd rather have a scoop of fiber they have to worry |
| 1:41.5 | about that scoop of vegetables just drink it and get it over with. |
| 1:44.4 | They need a hot dog. Plant-based fake meats. Meat substitutes are made of plants or mushrooms. They're engineered to look and taste like real meat, but instead contain plant proteins like soy, peas, and wheat gluten, along with artificial flavorings, added fats, industrial seed oils, and sodium. They're talking beyond. Impossible. Toferky, uh, pans mushroom jerky. |
| 2:03.1 | I wonder if it's just better than it, just to eat meat. So the thing is, if you're a vegetarian and you're just not eating meat, then that stuff's fine. It doesn't matter what the rest they put it in there. But if you're doing it because you think it's healthy, it's like, look, at the point did they make it even taste reasonably like a burger, something weird has happened. They say the consensus is that plant-based meats can provide good nutritional value, but could benefit from reduced salt, fat, and sugar content. So again, just take a gander at what it is that you're grabbing. If it tastes good, it's bad for you. Pretty much. And, well, and... As far as that impossible stuff, the reason they add all of that is so that it tastes closer to the meat that you want to be eating. Well, I think it's just a good theory on life. What's that? If it tastes really good, it's probably bad for you. If it tastes really bad, it's probably good for you. Well, and having dipped my toes in it, the thing that made me angry about it is, you know, tastes like real meat. |
| 2:54.4 | No, it doesn't. Stop trying to make it taste like real meat. Because all you're trying to do is push people right back into the arena that you didn't want them in in the first place. Just say it tastes good. Right. So someone like me ain't thrill. You should eat vegetables. we've made these, you can stomach this stuff. I think that would be the better sell. |
| 3:10.8 | For those of you out there, So someone like me ain't thrill, you should eat vegetables. We've made these. |
| 3:07.7 | Right. |
| 3:08.9 | You can stomach this stuff. |
| 3:23.6 | I think that would be the better sell. For those of you out there, whether it's kids, grown-ass people like myself relate, you hate vegetables. But there's no reason to eat vegetables that are ultra-processed. Because then you're kind of defeating the purpose. Right. And what I say, if it tastes good, it's probably bad for you. like you still eat vegetables. |
