Hey everybody, welcome back to another episode of the Catholic Talk Show. We're going to be talking

about the best Catholic hymns today. That's right. We did a very controversial episode on the

worst Catholic hymns and we're going to make a tone for that and share you the ones

today that we like and what that we think are the best. I mean, special guests on this show.

We've got Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Blind Will Johnson, Blind Will Johnson, and John Michael

Talbot. You don't want to miss this episode.

All right, this is an episode of Atonement here. I don't think we all agree and we're

not all in consensus on some of these. So that'll be a kind of an interesting conversation.

But some of them we are and we are talking about the hymns that really speak to the heart

and some of them are Latin. Some of them are steeped in history and tradition.

And the atonement of this is there were a lot of people out there, a lot of our followers

of the show that were asking, well, if you're going to talk about the worst Catholic hymns,

why don't you talk about your favorites? And this is the one for you. Yeah, that's right.

We had a lot of views on that one. We had a lot of a lot of people sent us pretty upset messages

because we were not very charitable in those songs. You were not very charitable. I'm passionate.

Yeah, you can't hate me for my thoughts. Now we did have a particular message. John Michael

Talbot, he's like, hey, dude, you guys are kind of rough, man, that was not cool. But John

Michael Talbot, because you're listening and I know you are, we're going to redeem that.
