In sales, we always tend to go hard to easy instead of easy to hard.

And when I talk to people early in sales, I go start with the things that you have control

Your time is one thing that you should have control of, especially if you're working

Get a wall calendar, or whether it be on your wall or not, wherever you're working,

on your office, your bed, wherever you are most of the time, so that you can see the

year at a glance, or at least a quarter at the glance, so that you can understand what

day is it, how many days do you have left, what are the holidays, the trade shows, anything

that'll interrupt that, so that you can constantly see where you are.

Because guess what, we're circadian creatures.

Being good at managing our time is counterintuitive.

We have to develop the skill.
