All right, welcome to talk is Jericho.

It's the pile of thunder and rock and roll.

And today Dave Meltzer returns to talk is Jericho to help tell the story of when Vince

McMahon bought WCW such a crazy tail even to this day happen 18 years ago.

We're going through the circumstances and events surrounding the sale and how Vince was able to come in and pretty much buy his biggest competition

and the promotion that had come close to putting him out of business as well.

Oh, the irony and how he's able to do it at such a bargain basement price.

I think of all of us took up a collection we could probably pay as much as Vince did for WCW.

We're also going to talk a little bit about how WCW is closing also impacted ECW.

What the XFL had to do with Vince's creative decisions about WCW once he bought it.

So much to talk about one of the most incredible stories.

Maybe the biggest story as Dave says in pro wrestling history.

So here we go Dave Meltzer one of our favorite guests returning from the wrestling observer newsletter to talk all about when Vince bought WCW.

But before that a lot of people are talking about high school.

What do I call it? High School of Rock, which was the story about all of our high school bands.

Me Rich, Billion, Frank from Fuzzy.

A lot of great feedback. It was a great show kind of reminiscing about your teenage years when you thought you were going to be a rock star.

Luckily it worked out for us.
