Hi friends, welcome to a special drop-in episode of That Sounds Fun, celebrating the release

of That Sounds Fun, the book.

I'm your host, Anne the author, Anne the F Downs, and I'm really happy to be here with

you today.

I'll tell you what, no matter how many times I've done this before, I still get nervous

and excited and butterflies.

I could not sleep last night, all the feeling on release day, but the primary one is gratitude.

Y'all, I'm just so grateful that I get to do this, that I get to share something I really

believe in and really value and have poured myself into over the last couple of years,

and it just really matters to me.

I'm so grateful for you guys, my gracious.

The heart of this book is that fun matters and that there's a part of ourselves that we

may have lost along the way as we've grown up and settled down and become contributing

members of society.

There's a lightness and innocence and joy that we don't always make time for.

If we look a little deeper, we can learn some pretty important things about ourselves

when we think about what sounds fun to us.
