Hello, Lisa. We are recording on a Saturday morning. Wow, what a difference this makes when you get me on my second cup of coffee and not recording after a 10-hour workday.

Same. I am fresh and ready to go. Karin, I'm also on my second cup, so I had hot coffee when I was working at the animal shelter this morning

and making the cats listen to a podcast about economics. And then I stopped at the wah-wa and got an

iced coffee. Oh, and I showered. I'm feeling so fresh. In all aspects of my life, I feel fresh.

Yeah. Our schedule is a little different.

Just to make sure you guys keep getting shows, just how we record.

We would have had to record on Thanksgiving.

Yeah, no.

We weren't going to do that because Lisa is having a Sidesgiving, which sounds amazing.

You know, it makes more sense if you knew me as a kid. So when I was little,

I was a really picky eater. And basically at any holiday, like family function, all I would eat was

rolls with butter, like maybe some corn, if you were lucky, maybe a pickle. That was, that was it. And my parents, you know, they had already

raised one kid. And by the time they got to me, they were like, whatever, the child will eat

when she's hungry. Like, just let her eat whatever she's going to eat. So now that I am a refined

adult, my palate has expanded. But still, I'm not a big fan of, like,

turkey or ham, like, on these holidays. What I really want to eat is stove top stuffing,

mashed potatoes, green beans, some Hawaiian rolls. I don't like cranberry sauce, but it can be

present. I'll allow it.

And, like, maybe an appetizer, charcutory board and then, like, a dessert of some kind.
