I'm not sure I've gotten more positive feedback in a long time than from our discussion about Drew breeze we took calls.

We debated we discussed and over the course of the day after Drew breeze apologized everybody weighed in.

I spent time last night sitting around thinking about where we are right now as a country and how it impacts the world of sports.

Every now and then I come on and I preach and I create what I would call a grand theory that unites several different disparate threats.

Right now I'm going to talk about Drew breeze the coronavirus and the protests police shootings riot situation that have been going on and how I see them all interconnected.

And I think if you keep an open mind and you follow me along here you're going to see how these threads dovetail and I'm going to start in the world of sports with Drew breeze.

Okay. I have been preaching on this show for the past couple of weeks something that matters to me a great deal.

And it is the difference between a fact and an opinion.

We all should be entitled to our own opinions but we are all not entitled to our own facts.

And so Drew breeze is opinion on the national anthem which we are going to play again for you right here along with the question that was surrounding it.

I want you to listen to this and then I want you to follow me along as I build a grand theory connecting all of these different threads the coronavirus, the protests, the riots and Drew breeze.

But first of all Drew breeze was asked about standing for the anthem and he said this.

Everyone is looking back now at Kaepernick's protests from a few years ago and obviously they were always about police brutality.

And now it's coming back to the fore and a lot of people expect that we will see players kneeling again.

We've been waiting the NFL season starts. I'm curious how you think the NFL will and should respond to that.

And of course you're such a leader in the league. What is your responsibility as a leader in times like this for the rest of your teammates and players in the league?

I will never agree with anybody disrespecting the flag of the United States of America or our country.

Let me just tell you what I see or what I feel when the national anthem is played and when I look at the flag of the United States.
