Summary

In the mid-1980s, on the heels of suffering an abusive childhood, a troubled Townsend, MA teen named Daniel LaPlante began a crime spree that terrorized the residents of the local area where he lived. It started as a string of burglaries, but a thirst for greater thrills developed over time, and his antisocial rampage finally ended with the vicious murders of a pregnant woman and her two young children. By the time it was all said and done, LaPlante was not only serving three consecutive life sentences in prison, but had become the subject of great speculation and legend, making himself a regular topic of conversation around campfires and Ouija boards. 0:14.0	Today's focus is on Triple Murderer and All Around SuperCreep Daniel Laplant.
0:20.0	In 1986, the troubled teen from Townsend, Massachusetts was well on his way to becoming a
0:25.8	full-blown sociopath, having committed numerous burglaries in the local area where he lived,
0:32.0	many of which were designed to psychologically terrorize the inhabitants
0:35.9	of the homes when they returned to find that somebody had been in their houses when they
0:40.6	were away.
0:42.4	But like most sociopaths who follow this trajectory, LaPlant
0:46.7	was going to graduate the crimes directly involving people. In late 1986, he perpetrated one of the strangest crimes you could imagine.

1:06.6	after bedtime. And I'll offer that story for you here, but needless to say, Daniel Plant gets closer to the edge. He's going to step off it. He's going to kill.
1:21.1	Only months after being arrested for an incident that sounds like it's straight out of a horror story.
1:27.8	In early 1987, the teen enters another local home, rapes and murders 33-year-old Priscilla Gustacinth, and offers
1:37.0	no mercy to her seven-year-old daughter Abigail, or five-year-old son William either.
1:43.0	After receiving three life sentences to be served in succession,
1:47.0	Daniel La Plant has tried everything he can
1:50.0	to create a situation in which he might be able to get paroled one day.
1:55.0	But he never will.
1:57.0	He's a monster.
1:59.0	So let's take a look at how this killer came to be by way of his abuse of home life in childhood that led to a thirst for sociopathic behavior.
