In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's Word, and that

heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your life.

Well, if you listen often enough, you know every month we have our good friend, Than Bennett,

on the show for what we call a faith perspective from the Hill.

Than serves as Director for Government Affairs for the ACLJ, and today we're going to do some post-election

reflection. I say this every month when Than is on. We know that politics is a hot topic and it's divisive at times,

many times, and you can tune into a lot of different stations and find an echo chamber of vitriol,

anger, and rage. We don't want that here, but we want to have a civil conversation around

what's happening in the world, what's happening on the Hill in politics. How do these

policies impact our faith, the way we do our life, our nation?

How should we be praying right now?

That said, I know that we do have a mixed audience of different political persuasions.

We're going to do our best to navigate with honor.

I pray that you pray for us because it's not always easy to do that.

But we are going to speak. I will tell you for me personally, because it's not always easy to do that. But we are going to

speak. I will tell you for me personally, I am speaking from a conservative perspective. But I do

have loved ones and friends who vote on the opposite side of the aisle. I love them so much.

We just have different ideas of how to move forward. But we walk in love. And I feel like nobody,
