In fact, I look forward to bringing you conversations every single day that hopefully

inspire you in your faith walk, that deepen your understanding of God's word, and that

heightens your awareness of his very real presence in your

life. Well, if you listen often enough, you know this every month. We have our friend Than

Bennett on the show for what we call a faith perspective from the Hill. Than serves as a director

for government affairs for the ACLJ. And I say this every time he's on and I pray you'll just give

me grace again. But, you know, these conversations on the show for me,

what I do every day, are usually focused on deeper life and faith issues. And I rarely venture

into the world of politics because we have other shows that do that. But I don't want to

pretend that the issues of today aren't pertinent to our faith. They absolutely are. We are in

unprecedented times, whether we're

sick of that phrase or not. It's just true. And I personally don't know anyone I trust more to bring us

a humble biblical perspective on the times. And that said, I know we have Republicans,

Democrats, and independents who listen to the show. So I'm asking for grace, humility,

civility, as we venture into these topics. Some of the things that we'll talk about are just how D.C. is grappling right now with the rising gas prices, our economy, the war in Ukraine. What's happening with the Supreme Court and even the attempt to assassinate Justice Brett Kavanaugh, the Evaldi shooting, the January 6th Commission.

There's a lot going on right now. And even more than that, how do we as God's people speak life?
