in your life. Well, you know, and I've said this a few times on the show, political conversations

in many cases have actually upstaged spiritual conversations among Christians. And of course,

there's place for politics in the lives of believers, absolutely. But how do we keep a faith

perspective, which is so critical in our day? Well, because that's the case, we invite my friend Than Bennett on the show every month for what we call a faith perspective from the Hill. He's a good friend and he serves as a director for government affairs for the ACLJ. So here are some of the themes we'll explore on today's show and I hope we can get to all of them. Here's one. Did you know that our system

of government was designed with moral, religious people in mind that's considered wholly inadequate

for any other? Well, we'll learn more about that today. And how about the Senate confirmation

hearings for Judge Amy Coney-Barritt? We'll hear Thans take on that process and how things may play

out from here.

Some suggest that the whole idea the U.S. Constitution is so flawed and our history is so flawed that it needs to be completely dismantled and built back up again.

We'll get Thans' thoughts on that.

And finally, how do we balance boldness and our convictions with respect for authority?
