I'm Thane Bennett sitting in for Susie today, and it is so good to be back with all of you.

I just absolutely love getting to be a regular part of Susie's show.

It's usually, usually as a guest, but I'm also

so honored to get the chance now and again to fill in for her and to spend a little bit of

time with all of you. And if you are a regular listener to Susie's broadcast, you know that this

is a show where Susie endeavors to lead us in conversations every single day that inspire us in our faith walk,

that deepen our understanding of God's Word, and that heighten our awareness of his very real

presence in our life. And let me just say on a personal note, Susie's commitment to those goals,

and I would say this too, the commitment of the team behind the scenes here at Faith Radio.

You don't get to see that all of the time, but I do.

That commitment, folks, that's why I listen to this broadcast.

That's why this is a regular part of my morning or evening commute.

And it's also why I love to be a part of Faith Radio whenever I have a chance to jump in in this capacity.

Because we just really need

inspiration in our faith these days. We just do. We need a grounding of God's word in our

hearts and minds. And I've got to tell you, it is it is the cry of my heart and increasingly so

every day that we would walk in this invitation that Susie offers to us every

day to have a heightened awareness. I think that's the one of these three goals that speaks to me
