Father in heaven as we come now to ponder the gospel from your word, I ask for your

help not only for me but also for all of us in this room who are now appointed to hear a word from you through the scriptures.

Would you come and by the Holy Spirit

anoint me and help me so that I speak the truth and so that I am humbled by the

I pray Lord Jesus that there would be love abounding in this room

I want to begin with a little parable this morning.
