And listen to this, Thursday, December 18th, 1777, and that goes on to say and I'll read it here that the Continental

Congress adopted a recommendation put forth by Samuel Adams. You guys all know that Sam Adams is not a beer, right?

It just dawned on me that some young people might think what the beer is named after

this guy's dad not him I don't know that disappoint you or not but so Samuel Adams put forth this

declaring Thursday December 18th 1777, quote, a day of Thanksgiving to God.

Samuel Adams went on to say that, quote, in particular, God have blessed,

in so great a measure to prosper the means used for the support of our

troops and to crown our arms with most signal success. That's a very incredibly educated way of saying

God gave our troops and it's fantastic aim when they shot. Isn't it's a

The resolution went on to say that the day would be set aside so that with one heart and one voice the good people
