Dear Kelly, I've long been a fan of your books, and over the past year I've become a raving fan of your pods as well.

Thank you for writing like you talk and talking like you write.

I live just about six or seven miles from most anything I might want or need, so thanks for being here escorts me back and forth on my ventures, making me always glad I had to make a run.

It's such a powerful reminder of the significance of the beginnings and endings of things.

Several years ago, on the days leading up to my firstborn's wedding, I found my mind exploding with things I

wanted my son to know. Or maybe it was just full of things I felt like I needed to say. Most likely

it was a head-on collision of the two. But had I opened my mouth to share it, nonsensical drivel,

wrapped in tears, would have landed in his lap. So I wrote him a letter instead. This is it. I thought

Colton's You Got This Letter might have a place and thanks for being here. I wrote his bride to be one too,

and for six years since, I write them one together on every anniversary. It's my way of helping them,

and me, not skim over the years.
