I am Zach Jackson, and we are past the Browns by week.

So talked a little draft, had some people on.

I went down to Ohio State.

I unplugged.

And then even as the Browns got back to work this week, I haven't brought back the podcast, and the football part of the

podcast is going to wait for one more day. So shout out to fully loaded, our sponsor, and shout

out to all of you guys who have listened and helped it grow. Because even though the Brown season

has not been real fun, the growth of it has been great.

It's been fun to do.

It's been fun to engage you guys.

But on this edition, I'm going to talk about one of the reasons why I haven't been back in the podcast scene.

And that's that last week, my grandfather passed away.

Eugene Jackson, my paternal grandfather, was 90 years old. He was a legend in his own

right. He was a good man, and we're going to miss him. And so on this episode, I am going to tell you

about him and why I'm going to miss him and why he made me laugh.

And maybe you'll deduce why I am the way I am.

And so if you don't want to listen, if you just want to come back, I promise by Thursday night, we'll be back talking Browns, talking about what I saw at Ohio State, talking about what I think about the trade deadline and this weekend's disaster of a game with the Jets and all of those things.

But for the next, I don't know, 15 or so minutes, I'm going to cuss and I'm going to quote

him and I'm going to pay a little tribute to one of the coolest, funniest, and most important people in my life.
