Oh yeah, it is the Red Men Bite Size podcast. It is Monday the 25th of May and I'm here to round up the latest Liverpool news from the weekend. It is a bank holiday Monday so I hope you are all enjoying that if you are in the UK because that's where it is a bank holiday. Sadly it's not a bank holiday for me. But what I can tell you is, which we'll all be made up with,

is that the season is finally over.

For months, it's felt like we all have needed the season to just end.

Liverpool to get Champions League football

so that we could all have a break and a relax away from it.

Because let's be honest, it's been draining asnith this year. Liverpool did

conclude their final Premier League game on Sunday. They drew 1-1 with Brentford and the way the

game played out wasn't really the main focus point was it. It was saying goodbye to two incredible

legends. Liverpool did finish fifth in the Premier League.

They secured Champions League football for next year. And yeah, we at least I guess, you know, did the bare minimum, which was get Champions League football.

It was so important that we do that to be able to spend big, to be able to attract the players, all of those big things. But truthfully, I think we all just wanted it to be over. And now that it is over, we can all relax, we can all go on holiday. We can all watch the World Cup. I don't know about you, but for me, the World Cup will be brilliant because I don't care who

wins it. I don't have a team in the World Cup. So, like, I'll just enjoy watching it. I'll

enjoy watching some of the best footballers come together. And I don't have the same kind of

passion nor pull to a national team that I do with Liverpool.

So it will be nice to have football on and not really care who wins or losers.

It'll just be a nice way to pass time by having some form of footy on.

But today we are going to get into the reaction of some of the players from yesterday

and have a look at where Andy Robertson will be moving to next because that came out

yesterday after a certain Premier League team secured their status for next season.
