Hey, welcome back to Surf Splendor. This is, of course, the voice of David Scales.

It is Thanksgiving week here in the United States.

An abbreviated work week for us.

I actually had an episode scheduled to go out this week,

but the workload in relation to the post-production and the publishing cuts into my week here

and the time that I need to spend in the kitchen preparing Thanksgiving.

So I've decided rather than rush that out the door, I'm going to take this week off,

and then we'll publish that episode next week.

But I did want to at least check in with you and say, thank you.

I'm grateful, grateful to be able to do this work.

Grateful to you, the listener.

And so I wanted to share that with you.

The episode for next week, though, by the way, is with Torin Martin. Torin Martin and I getting

together to discuss his upcoming film, Calypty, which is actually the name of the boat. The film is

about a sailing trip that he and his partner took for 12 months. They spent a year on a

boat together traveling, surfing, put it together into a film. And the film is scheduled for

release, I think, December 3rd. So I will publish that episode next week on Wednesday, which will be

November 29th. So just a couple of days before the film is released,

so you can kind of enjoy that episode and then look forward to seeing the film.

The film's fantastic, by the way, and the surfing is incredible.
