Episode 100.

Thank you, Thank you.

The title of this episode is my way of saying how much I appreciate all my listeners.

When I started this podcast way back in April of 2010, I would have been happy with a couple

of thousand listeners and maybe 60 total episodes before I moved on with my life.

Yet here I am in August of 2012,

with episode number 100 and still a ways to go

before I transform the podcast to a celebration of Russian history instead of a following

of a list of rulers, some of whom moved their nation forward, many of whom did little to improve the lives of the people.

Russian history is like many histories of countries and peoples who have lasted a millennia, complex and multi-sided.

There are no clear answers to all the questions, as interpreting history objectively is

virtually impossible.

You have your personal prejudices, your educational background, and your life's experiences

but sometimes cloud sometimes sharpens your vision of the past.

I hope I've given you an objective viewpoint of Russian history

and will try to continue to do so in the future.
