Music Many people do not believe in Lucifer, both Christian and non-Christian.

And for some, Lucifer is just some cartoon-like character with red skin, horns, forked tongue, tail, and cloven hooves.

That image started at the end of the Middle Ages. The Bible talks about

Lucifer in seven of the Old Testament books, with Job mentioning him extensively and depicting him

as someone who can enter God's throne room many times. 19 New Testament books mention him,

and Jesus referenced him liberally. So clearly the Bible maintains

that Lucifer is a real entity. It is thought that Isaiah 14 references Lucifer from verses 12 to 20.

They read, How you are fallen from heaven, O Day Star. Some translations have that as the actual

word Lucifer, Son of Dawn. How you are cut down to the

ground, you who lay the nations low. You said in your heart, I will ascend to heaven above the stars of God.

I will set my throne on high. I will sit on the mount of assembly in the far reaches of the north.

I will ascend above the heights of the clouds.
