A couple big news items to get to this week.

The longest tenured athletic director in college football, Joccus Tiglione at Oklahoma, is retiring.

Before we get to that, Bruce, you are on the scene at Big 12 Media Days in Texas.

And Texas Tech making news yet again with throwing money around and getting a big time

recruit. Yeah, and this is the biggest recruits, Stu, that they have landed ever in college

football. Felix Ojo, a five-star offensive tackle considered by many in the recruiting spaces, the top offensive line

prospect in the 2026 class.

The news broke on July 4th, and myself and just colleagues, Justin Williams, and Sam Khan,

ended up doing a story about him sign about him

agreeing to code a Texas Tech over the weekend and had some of the details of what has been

agreed upon as well as how Texas Tech has been able to really change the narrative about the football program,

really about the whole athletic department.

Cody Campbell, who's a name some of our listeners are familiar with now.

He's a former Texas Tech offensive linemen from the leech days who ended up going into the energy business and becoming a billionaire and has

gotten really behind his alma mater and trying to make them into what Texas and Oklahoma used to be

for the big 12 and that's to be a real blue blood when it comes to resources.

Well, what makes this particular story unique is we're, you know, only a few days, frankly, into the revenue-sharing era of college football.

And so when this was first reported on Friday by ESPN, the agent went on the record, Derek Shelby of prestige management

and said he's getting a three-year guaranteed $5.1 million rev share deal. And we've seen

figures. Occasionally you see figures like big figures get out, but here is a guy saying specifically
