That was a bloodbath for Texas Tech.

That could not have gone any worse.

I mean, sure, the defense was tremendous.

I firmly still believe this is the best defense in the

country. But you know what? You squandered away the greatest defense in college football this

season with an offense that we knew was potentially going to have some issues if and when they got to this level of the season.

And that's exactly what you saw happen in this game on Thursday.

You saw an Oregon defense that felt like it was not getting enough credit.

It was not getting enough love.

It was not getting enough respect.

And they made Baron Morton look like a backup in 1A football at the high school level.

That's what they made them look like.

Three turnovers, a couple of interceptions, one fumble that, of course, was a strip sack that led to the Oregon touchdown that put them up by two scores.

It was an abysmal performance all around for the Red Raiders offense.

The defense held up.

The time of possession in the first half was 22 to 8.
