The the only state rep most people know is the speaker of the house much like in the House of Representatives in

Congress

There is Kevin McCarthy or Nancy Pelosi and and they have their their lieutenants

Who help whip the votes and keep people in line and and you know

Return favors and in those sorts of things

But there are folks who exert often what would seem to be quiet influence that means beneath the

Beneath being worthy of an article and even if a reporter knows about it

Why write about a guy particularly in a statewide publication that nobody knows the name

They're not gonna read but these people quietly and firmly

Move the ball down the field often for good Brian Harrison's turned out to be one of those guys

The good news is he's getting some attention for it as a result of this impeachment trial because in the house

When the games were being played under cover of darkness during the house session most people weren't paying attention

The house wasn't accomplishing anything on criminal justice reform border security and a number of other things it mattered to the people of Texas

But what they were doing was

They were putting their pieces in place to try to impeach the attorney general because I'm sure that's what you the voter

Representing a district whose largest town is walks a hatchey and I'm gonna ask y'all

If you know any of the other places in his it's a it's a sprawling district of little towns

I bet you there's some some good collaches in this district. I bet you there's some good burger joints

I bet you there's some good Christian folk some country churches some clean living and probably a hell of a baseball team
