Fifth Circuit Court of Appeals has put it on hold yet again.

Before we get into the procedural, what is Senate Bill 4?

What does it do and why was it necessary?

Senate Bill 4 is a bill that I wrote with my team and Senator Charles Perry at the end of last session that simply says it's illegal to be illegal in Texas basically and if you cross the border and if we

see you we can arrest you the tain you arrest you and run a background check. If you're a criminal, Michael, then we'll either keep you in jail depending on the crime or turn you over to ICE. And if you're not a criminal, we give you a choice.

You can go to jail for six months the first time we catch you crossing,

or we'll take you back to the border and send you back to Mexico.

If you come back a second time, you know, if you're not a criminal, you come back a second time, you know if you're not a criminal you come back a second time then you go to jail for years.

So that's essentially what the bill does. It allows us to act as border agents as local law enforcement to protect our border.

The Constitution, Michael says that the federal government can do that.

Only, unless it's an invasion we believe our bill is sound that's why we

believe we had a favorable ruling from the Supreme Court which I find a very

optimistic I must admit my call I've got whiplash my neck hurts from this chaos.

What happened you know as you know was the the local court first said you know

this is you know this can't go in it's a Democrat

said it was you know it wasn't constitutional etc the Fifth Circuit stepped in and

said we're going to stay that allow it to become law then that one to the that was March 2 only, and then it goes to the Supreme Court.

The Supreme Court said on Monday at 4 o'clock, I think, no, it can't go into law until it's finally

decided and then the next, you know, the the next day it less than 24 hours they
