and they have lost some players in totality in the portal, they've gained some.

But in year one under Mike Elkoko is there any reason to already hit the panic button

and the truth is no not even close

see sometimes it's necessary for some programs that have to get rid of guys trimming the

fat even applies to some of the top players but this A&M team I think performs better

as underdogs or is going to have one of their best

years when expectations aren't as high as they've been in the past and for Mike

Elko and the Aggies you aren't hearing the same rhetoric about this year's team

being some juggernaut because of

recruiting he isn't out there calling out Nick Sabin or giving other top dogs

bulletin board material he's really just handling business and attempting to turn the Aggies

back into who they really are.

And that's a program that's gritty, not flashy, that's tough on the field, not on the

mic, and has an identity that screams we may not be the state school,

but we're damn sure not afraid of them.
