The The When I think about salvation and how Jesus saved me, it brings me back to when I was a little kid.

But, you know, when it comes to salvation, even though it is a one-time event, I do believe that Jesus Christ continually saves us through situations and setbacks and trials and tribulations and persecutions.

I don't believe that Jesus Christ just saves us from our sins alone, but he saves us from hell.

He saves us from heartache. He saves us from our pain.

And for me, it all starts when I was three years old.

I don't really know how to explain this, but when I was three, I remember seeing Jesus

come into my home. I felt this burden or this fire, if you will, to preach the gospel. So I remember being in my pool up, and I would

line up all my toys and stuffed animals, and I would preach the gospel to them. And I just remember

Jesus being there. I would see a silhouette of him, if you will, and I would look for him for

approval, and he would smile at me.

And that's where it all began.

I don't, as a kid, I don't really remember ever saying,

Lord Jesus, you know, I give my life to you before I started encountering him.

You know, when I was six years old, my dad was just starting out in ministry and I would

hear him preach and I would see, you know, people give their lives to Christ.

I just remember going up to my dad and telling him that I wanted to be baptized.
