The You know, The So from ages one to five, things were pretty normal.

I had a loving father and mother who were married, and my dad was taking us to church very regularly so we grew up in the church.

But something shifted around when I was about five years old and my mom started getting involved in drugs.

And during this time period, between the ages of about 5 and 10 for me, she would take me and my siblings, she would take us to Dallas, Fort Worth, and we would stay in all kinds of different buildings.

I don't remember the specific homes. I don't even know whose homes they were.

I know a lot of times there was no water, electricity. There was one house that just had a dirt floor,

and there was even a period of time where we lived in motels.

And during this time, my mom was involved with a biker gang gang and we definitely saw a lot of things. I remember all

kinds of sporadic things that happened and I just want to be completely transparent with you.

There's a lot of it that I blacked out and the timeline doesn't add up in my memory,

which after going to counseling, they did explain that

this is very normal for people who've gone through traumatic experiences. So please be gracious

and kind as I share from the heart what has happened to me. But I do remember moments where

these people would come in the home and my mom would be gone.

Like I have no idea where my mom would be for like weeks at a time.

We had no food.

And I had an infant brother a couple years into this that I was in charge of taking care of.
