Welcome, listeners, to another episode of The Extra Inch. My name is Windy, and I'm not joined by anybody today.

I'm just here by myself doing a soliloquy about under-18s.

Tragic. The reason I'm doing this is because the under-18s opened the new stadium.

The first test event is on Sunday.

We play Southampton and it's incredibly exciting, particularly for these young players who,

I mean, they won't have played in a stadium this size before.

Most of them will not be known to the majority of the crowd.

And it's a huge opportunity for them to impress or watching and make a bit of a name for themselves.

So I'm incredibly excited for them.

I'm also incredibly excited for us who get to go to the stadium for the first time.

I can't wait to walk through the doors.

But lots of people have been talking about that.

I thought instead it would be useful to give a roundup of some of the under 18 players you can expect to see on Sunday. First caveat though, I used to be a regular at Hartsboro Way, less so this

year. I've been once. A change in my personal circumstances meant that I don't really get a

chance to go as much as I'd like these days. I have seen them a few times through other sources,

via streams and whatnot. And I like to think I keep my ear to the ground and I kind of know a bit

about all these players. So I'd like to hopefully pass on some of that knowledge to you. So

you go in equipped with a bit of info about each of these youngsters.

So just to give a bit of background, the under 18s are still unbeaten in the league

and they are basically scrapping it out with Arsenal for which of them is going to win the league

title this year.

So we're a very, very good side at under 18 level.
