I've been in DC for almost 10 years, and over that 10 years, I went from optimistic and

hopeful to now cynical.

But I'm still hopeful in a brighter future.

But we launched Big Family last year because we want to treat families as any other special

interest group in this country is treated.

It's called Big Family because in DC, there's Big Pharma, Big Oil, Big Tobacco, Big

TAC.

There's all these bigs.

But there was no Big Family.

There was no one involved in public policy or campaigns and elections that was making

the family the most important priority.

We're really cynical, and we know that politicians really only care about one thing, and that's
