McLaren out for Sunday night's game against Seattle. He re-injured his quad in the game

Monday night against the Chiefs, and Dan Quinn ruled him out quickly this week. He did say he

does not think that this will be a long-term loss. We'll see on that. The good news, Jaden Daniels, a full go today and is expected to be a full go

all week leading into what is now a very likely return to action Sunday night against the Seahawks.

Which leads me to this from Dave in Sacramento. Dave writes a lot, and I appreciate you listening, Dave.

He writes, Kevin, it's time to face the reality of the season. They're three and five

and would realistically have to go seven and two the rest of the way, including games against

the Seahawks, Lions, Broncos, and Eagles twice.

Those five games opponents have a collective record of 28 and 10.

We need to win at least three of those games, plus sweep the Dolphins, Vikings, Giants, and Cowboys,

hardly a gimmy.

It's time to seriously consider becoming sellers at the trade deadline.

Bobby Wagner is still playing at a high level in many aspects,

and a team like the 49ers may be willing to part with a fifth or a sixth round pick.

There may also be a market for Ertz, probably less so.

These players are not going to be a part of a championship run for Washington,

so it's time to get what we can, look to the future,

and get McGee, Jordan McGee, and Ben Sinit some more playing time to see if they are real pieces to rely upon.
