Welcome to the program today. My name is Mono Gonzalez here in studio with Pete Garcia and Terry James,

and we are going to address their new book called The Disappearing, and it is an excellent book,

which talks about a variety of topics. Welcome, guys. Thank you. Good to be here.

And one of the things that I find interesting in there is explain a little bit of why you guys chose

to bring up again some truth but also some fictional, some of the chapters are fictional in nature.

Well that was actually Terry's idea, but he wanted to put a kind of a fictional narrative

that would run through the book that would put some flesh to the

bones, if you will, of what's actually happening. So it's one thing to talk about it doctrinally and

biblically and even historically, but it's another thing when you kind of put a character in

there that somebody reading the book then begins to associate with and you put them in scenarios

that they can really

see themselves in. So, yeah, I started out the concept with, with those two girls. And Pete took

it and just really, really did a good job going throughout the, throughout the book with the whole

fictional scenario as it rolled out.

And I thought that the way that some of this stuff is going to happen and made it so that

people could relate to it as opposed to just saying, you know, the rapture will occur and this

and that happens and according to all the the Bible things in the Bible,

it actually presented a kind of a rolling, flowing video, an inner book video of how things

will be and make it much easier to comprehend, I think, and then I think they could relate that back to what they're reading in the nonfiction portion. You know, if you have been wondering about the rapture, maybe you're watching or hearing about this for the first time, or maybe you're involved in a church that is not involved in teaching prophecy, and you think, well, where do I start? This is a great book to start, because it does give a great overview as well as, again,

it's very easy to read, it's very smooth in its writing.
