Today on Happy Sad Confused, Director Terry Gilliam finally delivers the man who killed Don Quixote.

Hey guys, I'm Josh Harrow, it's welcome to another edition of Happy Said Confused.

Welcome back to my podcast and today's guest a returning

champion five years later Terry Gilliam has re-entered the happy said confused

vortex. I can't believe it's been five years crazy but I'm thrilled

to have the great visionary filmmaker yes visionary we I feel like I see that in

every trailer for every director right now, but I'm going to give Terry that one.

He deserves the visionary moniker.

I've said this before when he was on the show years ago.

Harry Gilliam was a big part of my kind of awakening as a film fan growing up.

One of my first memories of going to see a movie in a theater was seeing time bandits, which kind of blew my brain out the back side of my head.

And then ever since then, so many of his works have meant a lot to me,

whether it's the Fisher King, Baron Munchhausen,

12 Monkeys, so many influential pieces of work.

And Brazil, my God Brazil and this one the man who

killed Don Quixote is a fascinating project for a number of reasons first of

all it should be said that the finished product

is a quality of piece of work and I know Terry's had his ups and downs in recent years

some of his films maybe haven't been to everybody's liking. I think Man who

killed Don Quixote is one of his better ones in recent years. This one of

course stars Adam Driver and Jonathan Price and it is going to begin it kind of had an unusual kind of
