A couple of shows ago I told you guys that it's been about eight years since I've read a book and then I read a book on Bob Probert, the hockey player for the Detroit Red Wings.

I was about to take a trip and because I had gained so much momentum from that one book, I knew that I needed to keep that going.

So how did a couple of books on my bookshelf and there was a there was a book in particular that came out in 2005.

I've had the books since 2006 and I've never read it and the book was Terry funk more than just hardcore.

This thing has been sitting on my damn bookshelf forever and I said, man, this is a prime time to read this thing.

So I took it on my trip with me from L.A. Houston, Capri and Houston back to L.A. finished it just yesterday.

I've been bragging about this book because it hits it hit home with me on so many levels coming from the business of Pro Wrestling.

And I told anybody that's a true fan of the business that they need to go out and buy this book because that's how important I think this book is.

For any of you catch, whether you're a guy or a gal trying to get into the business of professional wrestling, you need to read more than just hardcore because it's stories about the business.

It's what the business is about. It's about the respect for the business, the love for the business.

And Terry funk has spent a lifetime in the business. There's life there's a life lessons in here. It's just an up and down thing that takes you on a hell of a ride.

There's several spots in here where they just laugh out loud stuff and it just hit me right in my core.

And I said back then I got to have Terry funk on the show. So without any further ado, I got Terry funk on the show.

Well, I'm glad to be here Steve. It's thank you very much for introduction that I probably didn't even deserve. I sound like a hell of a guy there.

Well, I know there's a lot of people I try to be.

Pretty salty human being when you're in the ring and you know Terry when I was reading your book, you know, you come from from Amorella, your dad was a professional wrestler.

He was a promoter and Dory junior came along and then you came along. It's a life long career. Your whole life has been in the wrestling business.

But I don't want to start right from the beginning. I want to jump right into something that's been on my mind ever since today had happened.

And as I was reading the book, I was like, holy shit. I was there on this occasion. I want to take you back to ECW, the ECW arena right there in Philadelphia.
