One of the biggest ways you can save money, or my word, lose your shirt, is in the purchase of a home. specifically if you haven't done this before

purchasing a home can be I don't know daunting overwhelming scary terrifying

exciting I remember when we have purchased our first home I didn't really

know what I was doing and had a lot to learn in that regard. One of the things that

my realtor would not let me do was purchase a home without a third car garage.

Even though I adamantly told him, Terry, I will not own a toy. I will not own a toy I will not own blah blah I only need two stalls for those two

vehicles and Terry said I'm not thinking about you I'm thinking about the next

buyer that was one of the many things that

Terry taught me in my first home-buying process and Terry who I will explain why I'm

talking about him so much also has helped me purchase a few rental properties and

he helped me purchase the home that I'm now in and has helped me purchase some

the lots that were next to my home that made my home even better.

So he's helped me purchase several properties over the last 12 years and he's gotten me into some great rentals that are now a nice little

tidy rental properties and of course he's helped us get into the house that we

love. Now does he deserve credit for making the house awesome because all the people that live in it are

awesome? No. But he has steered me in the right direction over the years. So I thought, why not

have Terry come on the podcast and we would specifically focus on what

you need to know as a first-time homebuyer. We'll talk a little bit about the market.
