I just recently learnt that my childhood friend is possessed by something rather powerful.

My friend and I are both women in our 30s.

We've been friends since we were children.

You often see in Freds like this that someone was born to a powerful family in the countryside,

or that their family has worshipped a certain kami summer for generations.

But we're nothing like that.

We were born and raised in the city. We're not psychic

either. My friend doesn't really go out on tests of courage or anything like that, but she

does like scary stories. That's about it. Of course, I have no six cents either, so I've never felt anything strange

regarding my friend, like, ah, she can see ghosts. She's pretty forgetful. Not that she doesn't
