Looking back on what was an epic weekend, well it was supposed to be. And then the rain fell.

Yeah, we still haven't got treated some great racing though. So we'll look back on the guitar,

pre-del-arc, the triumped meeting at Paddy Longshamp in the company of the Irish Fields,

one and only Mr. Rory Delargy, welcome back Rory De Gravy.

Listeners were freaking out. There was panic.

Rumors might demise of somewhat exaggerated. There was panic, Rory. There was riots on the streets.

And all the time it was just that you were busy and you couldn't come on.

Let's go straight for the big one. So first of all, the ground officially,

according to the trade paper Heavy, just how bad was the ground at Paddy Longshamp yesterday?

It wasn't desperate to start with, but obviously the issue there,

the racing and fresh grind and the rain really only came overnight into the morning,

the going on the Saturday wasn't too bad.

And it got bad towards the end of the day because it could open up and it could very deep then.

But for the early races, it wasn't a massive issue.

I suppose the one thing about the grind is, I think it made it more difficult for the

jockeys to judge peace than had it been good. I actually got a few where, you know,

they've clearly, while not necessarily going too fast, they weren't,

the front runners weren't really seeing things as a rule.

You know, I don't think they went terribly fast in the arc.
